Advice from UK flist needed

I MAY be going to GMEX for Collectormania.

I'd been talking about it with a girl at work who adores most of the current genre shows (and is a Farscape fan ;) and she's offered to drive! I didn't really want to stay over up in Manchester, couldn't face the drive by myself so so when (Dans, was it?) put out a call to see who was going I didn't put my hand up. Figured I'd seen Joe Flanigan and Craigy Craig before so didn't NEED to go.

But C is all enthused, and has never been to an event before so this really could happen!

Bit of advice needed: do you think we should pre-book the entry tickets and the photo op tickets on the website? Or buy on the day? Are Early Bird tickets worth it? We'd never get up there for 9am (when Early Bird starts) but could conceivably get there before the 11am standard start. I wonderd if one reason for getting an Early Bird is to make sure you can get a photo op ticket, but if you Pre-book them maybe you don't need to.....

Any thoughts, lovely flist? I can't remember what we did the one time I went to Excel in London, with y'all. And is anyone going whom I might trip over at some point in the day?? Meg? Craigy Craig??

me and sarah (elfqueen89) will be going, we are staying in a hotel there,

in answer to your questions i've ordered my tickets and photo op tickets on the site, (oh and the chane to go to vancouver woohoo) prices for photo ops are slightly cheaper on the site than at the event,

the last time i went to gmex someof us had ordered early bird tickets due to some of the guests being there, ive ordered early bird tickets just to be on the safe side

Dude, I sooooooooooo want to go because of Craigy Craig, if only for old times' sake! But I didn't know if anyone else bothered was going, plus isn't Miranda Otto going to be there, so isn't that another siggy for the montage? Man, sorry about late replyage - net access at home still woobly.

Ooh, also, I found Craigy Craig's twin brother on TV, if his twin brother was a comedian from T'Nooorth. LOL. Was vaguely amusing to me at least...
