Firefly fic rec

jazzymagster has committed fic, and committed it in the splendiferous Firefly universe. Not only that, but it's Book and River fic! I get the feeling that Book is a underused character fic wise (although, I could be wrong) so I think it's definitely worth a read, even just on that score.
But more than that, it's an intriguing look at a possible Book backstory, with some nice River interaction. There are small touches of the other characters (I especially liked Zoe and Kaylee) and Mal has something to say as well (when doesn't he!).
Jazz has got me reading all sorts of things in the past, fandoms I have no relationship with (sometimes that I have never HEARD of!), but I will always read what she writes with no hesitation. I can recommend her fic with no hesitation as well.
