Stargate Atlantis ficlet. I wrote this back last October, and for some reason, I don't think I actually posted it. It's just a very short piece of fluff, written quickly for a challenge of some sort.

Get Lost

"You shouldn't have kissed me!" she hissed.

"YOU shouldn't have gotten me drunk!"

"I thought it was a fruit beverage! What's your excuse? "

"The alcohol is my excuse!"

"Oh." Now she was riled. "So, you only kissed me because you were drunk, huh?"

He stumbles over that one, bleary brain aware of some sneaky female trick to make him incriminate himself.

"No! I mean...yes...but, normally I'd have..." Argh. He would have kissed her. Eventually. Definitely. Just not right then.

Elizabeth's mouth thins into a line. The view from the puddle jumper window is utterly alien.

"You have NO IDEA where we are?"

"Never seen a sky quite that shade of orange, before. So, no."

Ha! Sarcasm! Elizabeth swings around. "This is not my fault!"

"You programmed the gate address!" he retorts.

She eyes him. Cocky bastard.

"While you kissed my neck, Sheppard! More than once! Didn't you think it might be distracting??"

"I thought women were supposed to be able to multi-task!" Cocky, whiny bastard.

"And I though men were supposed to be able to hold their liquor! Four drinks, Colonel, and you lose all sense of..."

"...direction??" He waves vaguely at the planet with a meaningful look in his eyes.

"...of propriety!! Of...of...timing! Next time you kiss me, do it when I'm not dialling a gate address!"

Sheppard slants an interested look at her. "You mean...there's going to be a next time?"

Elizabeth's sense of direction is getting better.

Her hand hits his cheek with no problem at all.
