Anyone remember Evil!John?

To anyone who does, no, I haven't written anymore!!

This is just a quick post to say I have archived my old Evil!John Farscape fics on my website again. The previous site went down as it was a free Wanadoo one, which was a facility they closed. I've just uploaded the fics onto a free yahoo one (sorry about those pesky side ads!) so if anyone does feel the need to read about Evil PK John, then this (see below) is where to find them! I know Kazbaby was asking about them the other day (which is what booted me into action, lol).

For those who don't know (or rather for anyone who cares!) the premise is an AU where John is the bad peacekeeper guy and Aeryn is the Earthling astronaut, and follows how this altered dynamic changes various things that happened in the show. It started with two little ficlets, just to mind frell people! I kept adding and adding more sections, till it became a series of 6 or 7 fics, the last one with almost 34,000 words! And if Agent Rouka hadn't kept prodding me, that last section may never have been written!

It is quite dark. There are no rainbows and kittens, so don't read if you are looking for shippyness or schmoop! But although bad things happen, I don't think it is overly graphic. Although there is the implication of non-con, it isn't actually written.

Heh, thank you! There is something about the concept of John Crichton all buttoned up in Peacekeeper leather, that is very appealing! Hope you will still enjoy it, if you read it again!

Woohoo! Heya, Becca! Long time, no hear, lol. Just had a peek at your journal, must have missed it last time you posted. And hey, I found your link for the vid of the guy dancing in various countires around the world, which I'd had intended to look up again on youtube! Exellent!

Yes, I must admit, Evil!John did make me a bit nostalgic! It's odd, back when we were so into Farscape, and the angels and fic writing and con going...somehow it seems so long ago! And Farscape started 9 or 10 years ago...I can't work out whether 10 years feels long ago or actually not that far away really!

I still have my poi, but I haven't done anything with them for ages! I'm still going to cons in a big way though, with a friend I used to work with! Am going to my first Starfury one for ages this spring. And I spot Sean Harry around the convention circuit as well, and remember calling him Beanie! As you say, oh, the memories!!

EXCELLENT!

I have it all stored on my computer (still haven't gotten round to reading it all yet *shamed*), but it's nice to have a link up that I can point people at. I may well rec it at some point in the future (I don't know if anyone on either of my flists besides the obvious is interested in FS, but hey, twill get it out there!)

Lol, I wouldn't worry about not reading it all yet! I mean, it's not the shortest thing to read! Lulls you into a false sense of security with the first few short ones, then WHAM all of a sudden it becomes a bit of a read!

Yeah, but on the other hand, I've had it on the PC since you had it up at the wanadoo site. So. But then again, I find it hard to read fic on the 'puter now, so maybe I should print it all out.

And it is like, the most awesome-est AU I've ever read (and no, I'm not just saying that because it's you. I'm saying that because you took an idea I love and expanded on it in a somewhat amazing way. In fact, you are possibly the inspiration for my FS AU (ask for details, lol), as well as DK and Unrealized Reality).

LOL!! I wondered whther you were still on the net, am just typing you a post over at your journal! SO glad you liked Evil!John! When I was writing it, the whole concept and everything made complete sense to me. It's just now that I look back on it, I see it might have been a bit whacked out!! And it really was a bit dark and angsty! I loved writing a bit of angst!

Oh yeah, am still here. Got sucked into TV Tropes again (seriously, that place should come with a health warning, or something!)

I did, I did, and I still do! I love reading angst (as well as writing it), so hey, you won't hear any complaints from me! *g*

Oh I think you are, thinking about it, although I'd forgotten that when I first started writing the AU (reminds me, I need to retype the rest of it, since it got wiped, but luckily I had a hard copy). Basically, you know that line where John's in the mashed-up universe, and he's talking to Sikozu-Stark and she says she loves Aeryn and he loves Zhaan in that universe? Yeah...I should probably be shot for it, but apparently Lis, Keli and Dans like the idea - which is basically that Stark's the one who knows about wormholes and so on, but John's the one who's completely fucked in the head. And, as the line says, Stark loves Aeryn and John (will come to) love Zhaan. Eventually. Wow, I see what you mean! It has a similar sense of twistedness. It took me a minute to nail down the John as Stark, Stark as John swap, but once I'd got that I really liked it!! (I wonder if I missed your post first time around, hmm).

I'd definitely say type it up when you have time! Sounds like it would be a good read! :)
